James leads songwriting workshops based on a workbook he has authored and is continually updating and improving.
He has run this workshop for Life 100.3 Christian Radio, Presbyterian Music Camp, The Toronto Office of Catholic Youth, The Barrie Worship Conference, The Faith Friends Worship Conference, The Tammy Fredericks Vocal Studio, The Power Up Gospel Music Workshop, and for independently formed groups of songwriters all over Southern and Central Ontario.
The workshop can be booked for groups of 10 or more delegates as a 2 hour music and 2 hour lyric presentation, known as the 2+2, or you can book a 3+3
or a 4+4.
Prices for workshops in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) are as follows.
$75.00 each for 20 delegates +
$100.00 each for 10 to 19 delegates
$125.00 each for 5 to 9 delegates ($30.00, 100 page workbook included.)
The organizer or host of the workshop must provide a suitable workshop site and have received payment from a minimum of ten confirmed delegates. The workshop host attends the workshop free of charge and also gets a free copy of the workbook.
Prices for workshops outside of the GTA are priced on request.
Follow up workshops are available if a group of delegates wish to book another session to focus on a specific songwriting related discipline such as melodic or harmonic templating, lyric editing, or song form. Prices for follow up workshops are available on request.
